AREAS OF FOCUS

Media & Culture– PLUM sponsors programs produced for broadcast, theater, on-line media, and film that inspire, as well as, inform the viewer.   PLUM supports various dimensions of interactive media that recognizes the importance of heritage, tradition, expression, culture, and history.  PLUM embraces aspiring filmmakers, writers, artists, musicians, animators, and creative professionals with an eye for creative art.

Education – PLUM supports organizations that provide educational programs, outreach centers, community development workshops, career training classes, facilities, and seminars that create additional outlets for mentors.  PLUM supports programs that focus on the individual learning and developmental needs of the child. Parenting workshops are also available that showcase resume writing, vocational training, job building skills, and interview preparation.

Business – PLUM assists businesses that are vital to the economic enrichment and productivity of communities affected by poverty, drugs, homelessness, crime, and various risk factors that place limitations on creating viable resources in rural areas.

Housing – PLUM builds programs that assist communities occupied with shelters and living facilities that need assistance in the areas of land assessment including development.  Furthermore, initiatives that support a cooperative effort in the construction of homes for the less fortunate in undeveloped regions are required.

Health– Programs and research are necessary in creating adequate health care and resources for prevention or alternative treatments for Cancer, AIDS, HIV, STDs, Diabetes, High Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure, and various ailments. 

Judicial – PLUM recognizes case studies that are attainable in reaching ethical, moral, and legitimate  laws through community work and involvement focused on sustaining legislation essential in providing philanthropic programs for individuals, organizations, and communities.
